Dog Menu

We wanted to create a dog menu that is not just extremely tasty (…for them), but also healthy and nutritious! We chose meals that are packed with vital and beneficial vitamins, minerals, and much more. The ingredients used in our dog menu are all fresh – we don’t use anything from a tin!!

Pooch Plates

Cluckin’ good
White rice, baked chicken and pumpkin £6.50
– perfect for upset or sensitive stomachs!

White rice is easy to digest, helps relax dog’s digestive systems & regains balance. Chicken is a
great source of protein, & we bake it so it retains all its minerals -such as phosphorus! The
powerhouse of this dish is pumpkin, which boasts some serious health benefits – rich in vitamins
A, C , E, plenty of antioxidants, high in fibre & low in calories.

Roast beef ends with carrots and peas £6.50
– a nutrition powerhouse

Beef is perfect for a small treat as dogs LOVE it. Carrots are an excellent low calorie snack & are
high in fibre. They contain vitamins A, B6, C & are packed with beta carotene, potassium, lutein,
iron & much more! Peas are also low calorie, & rich in protein & fibre. They have a multitude of
minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium & magnesium, vitamins such as A, K and B & the
antioxidant lutein.

Two egg omelette with a sprinkle of cheddar and diced red bell peppers £6.50
– an ‘all-rounder’

High in protein, fatty acids, iron, folate, riboflavin, selenium & vitamins A & B12, eggs are a great
source of nutrition for your canine companion! Alongside helping settle upset stomachs, they
also help your dog’s skin & coat. Red bell peppers are the most nutritious of all the peppers,
containing the highest amounts of… vitamins A, C, E & B6, lutein & beta carotene.

All day breakfast (available from 7.30am)
Two tasty sausages and scrambled egg £5.50
– a special treat

Sausages are perfect for a small treat as dogs LOVE them. Eggs are a great source of nutrition, high in protein, fatty acids, iron, folate, riboflavin, selenium & vitamins A & B12. Alongside helping settle
upset stomachs, they also help your dog’s skin & coat.

4oz Sirloin Steak (done medium-well) and peas £11.95 (12-2pm or 6-8pm)
– for an energy boost

Steak is a great occasional treat since it’s a great source of protein. It contains phosphorus, iron,
vitamin B12 & omega 6-fatty acids. Peas are low calorie, & rich in both protein & fibre. They are
packed with minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium & magnesium, vitamins such as A, K & B & the
antioxidant lutein.

Raw bowl
Uncooked carrots, red bell peppers, celery and apple. £5.50
– a quick way to clean your dog’s teeth!

Carrots: Low calorie, high fibre. Packed with beta carotene, potassium, lutein, iron, vitamins A, B6
& C. Raw carrots give your dog’s teeth a bit of a clean. Peppers: Vitamins A, C, E & B6, lutein &
beta carotene. Celery: Vitamins A, B & C. It contains the nutrients needed to promote a healthy
heart & even help fight cancer, whilst helping freshen your dog’s breath. Apples: High in fibre &
contains vitamin A and C. They also help clean your dog’s teeth while
helping refresh their breath.

Vitamin A:
Crucial for brain & eye development. Provides support for healthy eyes (including night vision), skin, immune function & the formation of organs in growing animals.
Lutein:
An antioxidant that’s good for skin, heart & eye health.
Riboflavin (B2):
Supports digestion, growth & healing. Helps break down protein, carbohydrates & fats to turn them into energy.
Vitamin B6:
Cannot be made by dogs, so must be provided through diet! It’s significant to metabolism, immune function, & red blood cell & neurotransmitter creation. Helps with brain & eye health. Good for dogs with arthritis: can help modulate pro-inflammatory response.
Vitamin B12:
Crucial for a healthy nervous system & brain function, as well as for the
formation & growth of blood cells. It’s involved in intestinal health and therefore good for digestion.
Vitamin C:
An important antioxidant – scavenging potentially harmful free radicals in the body. Helps reduce inflammation & cognitive ageing.
Vitamin E:
Helps keep a dog’s immune system, muscles, heart, liver, nerve cells & skin healthy. Also helps stabilise cell membranes which play a potential role in canine pain management. Has some anti-inflammatory benefits.
Vitamin K:
Metabolises calcium in the bones, which prevents calcium deposits in the heart, arteries, & other muscles. Promotes healthy blood coagulation.
Phosphorus:
An essential mineral for healthy bones, teeth & metabolism. Helps maintain good kidney function.
Fibre:
Aids digestion.
Beta-carotene:
Produces vitamin A. It also works as an antioxidant, helping to prevent disease & infection.
Potassium:
A primary & vital electrolyte for health. Aids in the functioning of electrical charges in the heart, nerves, & muscles.
Iron:
Plays a key role in maintaining & supplying oxygen to the circulatory system.
Zinc:
Plays an important role in enzymes, proteins, & hormones. Also important for immune system & thyroid function.
Magnesium:
Involved with energy production at the cellular level. Every time your pet moves a muscle, experiences a heartbeat, or has a thought, magnesium is needed to facilitate that transfer of energy.
Protein:
Packed with amino acids that are essential for tissue & cell growth, development & repair (such as skin, muscle, bone & hair). Helps support the immune system & provides energy.
Fatty acids (omega 6-fatty acid):
Helps promote a shiny coat & healthy skin.
Folate:
Necessary for normal metabolic functions such as DNA synthesis, red blood cell production & utilising amino acids in building new proteins.
Selenium:
A critical trace mineral that dogs need to stay healthy – regulating the functions of general metabolism. Also, an antioxidant involved in DNA synthesis, reproduction, & the immune system.

Bone Appétit
No food will be cooked in oil and no seasoning added. No bones are served. All seeds are
removed. We do not offer raw meat due to the potential for foodborne illness.
Only fresh ingredients are used, nothing from a tin.
